A new quilt starts

IMG_4594These are the big pieces of the new Daffodil quilt.   There are many small pieces that will fill in between the major pieces.   Today I cut it out and barely started sewing as you can see.

On days when they forage the other side of the road and around the house, this is what they do 5 minutes before feeding time.   They mill around and look through the sliding glass doors to let me know the time.

Here is my 90-year young aunt showing off her birthday quilt.   She was so delighted, I was happy to have made it for her.

It seems I can go hard for 2-3 days and then I need a slower day – is that normal?

Yep, that is normal. Friday will be that day at my house. Like the bright quilt you’ve started, so glad your 90 yr. old Aunt enjoyed the quilt you made. Love the sheep.
