For my less than exciting day, I worked on these Zigzagular socks – a pattern from Prairie Girl – this morning. However, there were so many interruptions that when I picked them back up this afternoon, I had made so many mistakes, I took them back just over an inch – just pulled all the stitches off, stopped breathing, unraveled and put them back on again. And that is where they will spend the night. Tomorrow is errand day, so I doubt I will get back to them. I think they really want to be a two month project.
They look good – sorry that they (or your circumstances) are causing issues. I’ve printed off the pattern – but I won’t cast them on for a while. I need to finish up a few things first!
love the stripes. I so frequent start something over and i tell myself as Im doing it Its a whole lot easier than ripping quilting! good luck
I love your line..”stopped breathing”… isn’t that the truth! No matter how long they take, your striped socks will be awesome.
Hang in there, I started a pair of my first socks over at least 5 times. Now I am very careful and slow in knitting socks, but I hate to rip back. I”m still afraid I won’t get them back on the needles in the right place. Yours are looking great even though they are giving you headaches.
