The bottom row is put together, so I just need to put all the other red sashing and black cornerstones on and then make a border or two.

Meanwhile on the farm, my sons convinced me to hire someone to help get the garden in and the hoop house ready to plant. I feel so behind this year. We brought 14 bales of peat moss and 21 bags of all purpose sand home today in 4 trips to Lowes. Our boxes were getting depleted from weeding and produce. Seems whatever you take out, takes a bit of dirt with it and after a few crops, one needs to replenish the beds. We still need to do something to lighten up the soil on our hillside beds – haven’t thought that one through yet. There will be a good number of potatoes out there plus garlic and squash and cruciferous plants, which need room. And I still have not started my plants. That must happen this week!
