June 4 and summer?

I live in NW Washington state where summer usually starts near the end of July.  I just looked at the forecast for the next 10 days.   Instead of rain, we are to have temperatures of 79-84.    What a pleasure that will be for some of us.   There will be the usual people who will be complaining about the heat, but I intend to really enjoy the weather

I watched as these fellows really enjoyed the pond this morning.   I think they are washing their own fiber.  They have not been clipped, so they will probably be either in the shade or the water this coming week.

I finished the ice cream cones this afternoon and the slices of pie are next.

Humph, if you like this weather then why don’t you come this way–they are predicting triple digits by Sunday! Uggh, uggh, and uggh.

I really do prefer the temps in the 80s which is why I still live on this side of the mountains. Would you like me to clean out the guest room. I’d love to see you again.

I’m not looking for triple digits – that would be a bit much without air conditioning.

Your ice cream cones made me smile. I had a gigantic chocolate orange ice-cream yesterday. The temperatures here in Wales are still about 17c. but we think this is summer!

I glad you enjoyed the ice cream. 17c converts to about 62 for us. That’s still a bit chilly. Does it get really cold in the winter?

Your ice cream cones are adorable! Slices of pie sound like fun. And your weather sounds wonderful. We are hitting the mid 90’s this week, but I don’t complain about the neat… only the cold.

Thank you. I’m certainly learning a lot about the embroidery machine. At least I’m learning many things that will throw me off track and how to get back on again. Our temps are a bit milder than yours. Only 86 today and dropping slowly for the next week.
