Yesterday, my friend, Mary came over for the afternoon.    She embroidered these lovely hot dogs in buns.  By the time the applique pieces are put on, stitched around, trimmed, and the final stitching is done, each of these took about 45 minutes

I worked on these checkered squares for the quilt.    I love when she comes over as we have such a wonderful day together.

Now she has wedding dresses to make and I have other foods to embroider for this quilt as well as more checkered squares.   And the most exciting news is that she will be a grandmother this winter.   So of course, sometime this year, there will be baby items to make.   Stay tuned.
