I worked on these tumbling blocks today. It is small – only 27″ square. Since I wanted to quilt straight lines, I could do it sitting at my domestic machine. When I started it I wanted to do something in black and white. The quilting is red, but can’t be seen unless up close and not at all on the photo. I still have some hand work to do on it, so maybe I can get a better photo.
Prairie Moon is doing an organizing challenge this year, with which I’m going to try to keep up. We get a week to accomplish each task.
“it’s time for our first task of 2016 — are you ready? We’re going to: Deal with paper clutter”
If you double click on the red, you can read about it and join us.

I can see a little bit of red on the edges. Tumbling blocks is one of my favorite quilt designs although I’ve never tried to make one. Yours is awesome!
Try a small one like this – it goes fast and then you’ll see how easy it is and do a larger one.
