Perkiomen Valley fire blocks

This is the Perkiomen block requested to make quilts for those who have been affected by the Thomas fire in California.   I have 5 more cut out and then will send them to Ventura Modern Quilt Guild who is putting them together.

For my OMG at Elm Street Quilts I plan to complete the NY mystery, putting on borders, quilting, and binding it. (http://www.elmstreetquilts.com/2018/01/one-monthly-goal-january-goal-setting.html)

  4. I hadn’t heard about these blocks before your post today – thanks for the info, and for making blocks!
I really like your mystery quilt too! Mine is almost finished – I sewed about 80% of my blocks wrong, and had to unstitch them…. Hope to have it done tomorrow. I’m sure you’ll be glad to have one project completed so early in the month!
