This is what the quilt looks like-now. It is 55 inches square and with a small border it will be the perfect size for a lap quilt. So I need to decide if I will be happy with that or do I want to add more borders with possibly more stars for a larger quilt. The original BOM by Nancy Rink has 4 borders. Will I be happy with only 2 of them? Decisions!
What a wonderful combination of color and fabric. Give us a hint of what the borders have in store for your project… All four and then the two you think you’ll use only. I find the lap size quilts are used more often than my larger ones. Sandi
I’m looking at it again and it is 56″ wide, so for a lap quilt, I don’t want too much more. I’ve changed my thinking to perhaps a simple 2″ border with a bias stripe binding. How does that sound to you? With the borders on the pattern it would be 80″ and the detail in it takes away from the center.
Nice work! I LOVE it!
Thanks.
