I have now finished the heel. The photo shows one sock right side up and one upside down. Notice the redder stripe and heel area. Even though this is a sock yarn, it didn’t seem strong enough to hold up as long as I like, so I reinforced the heel with a 75% wool, 25% nylon reinforcement yarn by Schoeller Esslinger.
Tomorrow is SewExpo in Puyallup, WA, so will try to find something interesting to show you.
