The Broken Arrow quilt is done!. It has been washed and dried and is ready for snuggles.
I joined Craftsy some time ago and purchased Joan Hawley’s class on “Zip it up” zipper techniques. This has to be the easiest zipper I have ever put in. I made this little “Runaround” bag to add to the tote for daughter’s birthday today. She loved both bags. Let me explain how being in a hurry helped – NOT!
First, because I watched the video awhile back, I didn’t bother to read the instructions or re-watch the video – that was the beginning of my hurry. So I put the zipper on-inside out, took it out, and started over. Glanced at instructions and put all the pieces together. then I sewed the strap to the inside, fixed that. Now, the outside back pocket is in the inside. And I knew better, but being in a hurry, I didn’t think. I just told her that I put a pocket inside. So much for a hurry. Please tell me you do things like this as well. I love reading your comments, which make me think we’re having a conversation.
