It was a difficult morning as we sold our alpacas and chickens and the people came to pick them up today. After that I spent the day working on the SCORE quilt – the Seahawks quilt. Tonight was our oldest son’s birthday and he and his brother invited family and a number of friends to the celebration. We enjoyed ourselves and met some new people.
I took the quilt along as the border wasn’t finished, but I was able to finish it there before the food was served. His nephew helped him hold it. The colors in the first photo are accurate.
Chickens are a lot of work, and I’ll bet alpacas are, too. Great quilt! Have a wonderful Fourth!
The worst part about alpacas is trying to find someone who will shear them. I love the animals, so they don’t seem that much work to me. DH thinks they are a lot of work. We kept 4 large chickens and 2 bantams. And we still have the sheep.
