Welcomed home

Today I did the animal chores since we are now home again.   See what welcomed me home.

These trees have taken down this fence and shorted out two sides of the hot wire.   I contracted to have these trees taken down and the brush cleared to be done by the end of September at the latest.  And this is the reason I detest not being able to do things myself.

But on a happy note, so much rain fell during the time we were gone, that the pond has started filling again.   The ducks and geese will be so happy.

I’m so sorry you came home to such a mess. I totally feel the same way as you do about hating to wait for someone else to do things that you can’t do by yourself. I get so mad that my DH cannot do it and that he will not call someone else to help. We have a tree that is rubbing our roof, gutter and facia on one side of our house when the wind blows. It has been getting worse each month and yet nothing is done. When we have a gapping hole in the roof and rain or snow is pouring in, maybe then he will wake up. So wish I could climb up there and cut the limbs off.!!

  2. I have the same problem – there are so many things that I can’t do, and my DH is too busy to do – like repairing the damage that a family of raccoons did to our attic and guest bathroom…
Hopefully, your animals didn’t discover the gaps in the fencing!
