Citrus trees and hay delivery

The Meyers lemon tree is blooming.   I’m hoping it has lots of lemons to go with These wonderful looking limes.  There is also an orange tree which is just sitting and looking at us.  The citrus trees share the dining room with us during the freezing months.

These funny hens apparently want to be shelved.

And finally the 8 AM hay delivery arrived at 6 PM.  However it was not what we ordered and when opened, only about half was good hay.   They are returning on Monday to pick it up.   Hopefully, we both learned from this.   He will be more honest and I will open the bales and look in the middle before any are unloaded

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL AMERICANS and those from other countries, have a great Nov 23rd.

  1. Wishing you a very blessed Thanksgiving!
I’m glad that you discovered the bad hay right away – if it was found a month down the road, it would be harder to prove that it was his fault. We lost a fair bit of hay to mould one year – thankfully, we had enough to make it through the season, AND our sheep avoided the mouldy spots like the plague!
