These are the boxes hiding in plain sight – right under the serger table and there is also one under the sewing machine table. I put projects that I’m going to do in the immediate future in these boxes. The only problem is they don’t get looked through, hence, the project doesn’t get finished.

This valentine heart that I was going to make for my mil, but she didn’t live long enough.

Seattle streets quilt started, but not much is done.

A dressy shirt with net sleeves. That won’t happen anytime soon, and wasn’t started, nor was fabric pulled for it. So I put the magazine back on the book shelf.

A bag with several tiny quilt patterns which go together and make one larger piece. Fabric and patterns are there.

Box 2
This box contained Ziplocs of fabric scraps from quilts made and mostly donated, so no need to keep them separate. They went into the scrap box which is also overflowing and needs attention. There was one Ziploc I kept separate because I don’t understand how it came to be. There are many green triangles cut out – obviously for something. So that box has been eliminated. I’m saving Box 3 for tomorrow.
After the gym this morning, I went across the street for a few more fresh vegetables and some oranges. This stand was new. There must be a lot of people who really like it to take this much floor space. 
BIG WHITE TROUBLE with 4 feet.
We no sooner had them back in the pasture when the serviceman came to install this nice new cooktop. It is so nice and new, I don’t even want to mess it up by using it.
I promised this little blocks quilt last night, that today was its finishing day I kept my promise and it is finished including the hanging sleeve on the back. I think it will get to hang either in the living room until I make something else I want to hang there.
DH and I have been reading and watching videos that were recommended to us for his symptoms. We decided to try the juice fasting program for 21 days first to see if we would get any results (we are both doing it). This was our third day and so far, other than less thinking about what to fix, I haven’t noticed any difference. But that really isn’t very long, so we will keep at it. But the carrots in the garden are going at a fast rate. I may have to buy some for the last week and I had a LOT of carrots in the garden. I used a quarter of the pumpkin in the morning drink as well. Who would have thought to eat raw pumpkin other than the sheep. I will keep you informed if this makes us feel any different.
A wee little visitor and his grandmother came to visit me today on his 11 month birthday. Mary and I had a marvelous visit as usual, but with Tristan we did not do any sewing or other crafts. We mostly entertained him for the afternoon – or maybe it was the other way around as he pulls himself up and walks around things now. I’m going to have to create a “safe zone” for him in the sewing area before we can work there again.
I finished freezing all the peppers we picked last week and these crisp, carrots were brought in out of the garden today. It was 20 degrees when we got up this morning and the weatherman is promising the next 10 days to be freezing – at least during the night. It is wonderful to have fresh food that will stay in the ground until you need it.
This week was one to “hang on tightly for a wild ride” and try to enjoy the ride as the disasters happened.
One needs only a 10″ square of fabric, another of lining, and another of batting to make two of these. One zipper with two pulls is also needed. So you can really make these little cuties with scraps.
Here is my first one. They will make perfect little gifts. I want to look around for some fun zipper pulls to attach. I highly recommend you make some of these for yourself and for gifts. The patterns are available at quilt shops as well as
